Paweł Horbaczewski founded Arta Tech in 2009. As a president is responsible for leading the company’s product development and technology strategy. He also shares responsibility for the company’s day-to-day operations.

Paweł holds a master’s degree in Computer Systems and Networking from the Wrocław University of Science and Technology.

Under Paweł’s leadership, Arta Tech’s mission has been to continually advance and improve software technology in correlation with electronic paper (E Ink) to make it easier and more enjoyable for people to use e-reading devices such as e-book readers.

Established in 1998, Openbook is a professional research and consulting company which focus on book industry. Openbook is also the founder of the monitoring system which contained the most comprehensive retail sales and metadata information of Chinese books. Jonas Tellander is CEO and Founder (together with Jon Hauksson) of Storytel, started in 2005. Storytel is currently available in seven countries; Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Poland, Holland and Russia, and is planning to launch the service in at least three more countrys during 2017.
Fernando Piquer is CEO at Movistar Riders, an innovative centre for e-sports based in Casa del Lector and linked with reading promotion projects for teenagers.
For more than 20 years, Fernando Piquer’s professional career has been linked to the Internet and digital entertainment. Before the creation of the Movistar Riders eSports club, he founded Bitoon Games, the first Spanish “free to play” games company. He previously was a founding partner of Zinkia, where he participated in the creation and exploitation of the animated series «Pocoyo» and was director of the video game area of this company for more than five years. Throughout his career, he has worked designing digital strategies and products for brands such as: Coca-Cola, BBVA, Vodafone or Endesa, among others.
Kåre is a book (r)evolutionary and founder of Kidsread, a Swedish subscription service offering unlimited access to children’s books on tablets and smart phones (reading ages 0-12). He has an entrepreneurial background from several digital ventures and is also a award winning author.
 

Felim McGrath is Trends Manager at GlobalWebIndex, an audience profiling company that runs the world’s largest ongoing study on the digital consumer in order to quantify the perceptions and behaviors of every connected consumer in the world.

Felim oversees the GWI’s Trends team, who produce the company’s reports and infographics, as well as their Chart of the Day and GWITrends webinar series. He is a contributor to publications such as The Drum, Campaign Magazine, Bloomberg, The Independent and Admap Magazine.

Before beginning his career in digital consumer insights, he gained a Ph.D in the Social Sciences from Trinity College, Dublin and studied at the University of Cambridge.

Ruth is Director of Global Sales, Digital Solutions at Ingram Content Group. Ingram’s digital solutions include digital audio and eBook distribution and services to enhance title discoverability and sales performance.  Ruth represents Ingram on a number of industry groups, and is Chair of the BIC Board of Directors.
